Beijing
Ann Andelman was looking for a design inspired by the gardens of Versailles -- symmetrical, romantic, and geometric.
A former classmate of mine at SFA Designs reached out early on to bring me onto the project to assist with both design and 3d visualization.
Through the 3D visualization process, we were able to dive deep into material experimentation, rapidly prototyping various types of marbles and finishes, landing on a palette with a blend of modern and classical.

Shanghai
The design for Shanghai was a departure from that of Beijing -- modern, fashionable, and urban, inspired by the city itself.
The main challenge was to retain the feminine, artistic aesthetic of the brand while allowing the unique atmosphere of shanghai to shine through.
The layout is rational and open, utilizing similar materials to the Beijing proposal but with a stark color difference.
Nantong
The design for the Nantong space was inspired by the pioneering and innovative spirit of the city. Once a city heavily focused on industry, and now a lively modern metropolis, Nantong has undergone a rapid transformation.
This design has a collision of these modern and industrial elements, with a much more linear space and heavy dividing elements. As with the previous designs, the proposal needed to retain the aesthetics defined by Ann Andelman as a brand.
